Logo Design Brief

Our company buys distressed properties, renovates them and then resells them. We came up with the image attached (we thought it was cleaver to put the T and the J together so that it formed a house), but would like it to be more eye catching. We will be using this logo on everything so please be careful of the background as I will be using it on colored business cards, stationary, etc. We are open to all design changes, even ones that look nothing like our example.
