Logo Design Brief

I need a logo for my business, we design, manufacture and sell luxury sports apparel and accessories. The logo should be contemporary, simple, yet eye catching. The business name is "Vertus" - and our tag line is "Power. Performance. Passion" This should be included in some of the mock ups. The focus for the logo should be on the "V" it should be prominent.

I'm thinking primary colours and light blue (sky blue), white and black. It should work on black, white and coloured clothes (solid colours, no patterns.
