Logo Design Brief

We need a logo for our Business Unit - the name is Base & Channel Management. Please use Arial font and colours from the (Telstra) colour palette provided. We would like 'Base & Channel' in larger font, and 'Management' in smaller font, because people refer to the business unit as 'Base & Channel'.

The head of the unit is very keen on the visual attached, but obviously a logo won't be able to have any of the words. He does want something derivative of that sort of layout. Not exactly the same; but something similar enough that when you see it you are reminded of the visual which will be used in many documents to explain what it is we do. The small graphics on the visual (the cog, the hammer & wrench etc.) are not required to be part of the logo. Then general concept though is what is required.

• Must be in colours from colour palette. If two colours are used (for example two shades of blue or two shades of orange) must be two closest shades. For example there are four shades of orange, you can't use the first and the last, you must use two shades closest together.
