Logo Design Brief

We need a new logo that can fit into a circle layout... we would like a hand print. A very basic and friendly hand print that looks very fresh and welcoming. Perhaps a nice blue color or multi-color. We would like to ultimately be recognized by just the simple handprint. I also had the idea that the fingers be a very slight silhouette of people from all walks of life. Almost as if the fingers blotch out to slightly resemble people... man woman and child. However very basic and no real features... does that make sense? Maybe the thumb slightly reminds you of a pregnant woman if you looked closely or as it sparks your imagination... make sense? This should all be solid color or colors without detailed fingerprints. We will also be using it in stamp format as a 1 inch stamp that we can stamp peoples hands, paper and other forms of media. I can't stress how important it is that the logo is not creepy as it needs to look friendly. Adult hand print please... not a child's hand print. I'm open to many ideas. Design needs to be fully original and not conflicting with any existing logo in the world.

This is for our retirement, healthy living community and surrounding community which is very large and has extensive families involved.

Requirements

Must have

• A handprint as if you were being arrested and plopped your whole hand down. I added 2 very general examples of what I'm thinking. Something very fresh and pleasant to look at... makes people feel happy... but not childish. The logo will ultimately need to fit into a circle as it will be used as a hand-stamp and other marketing material. Need Photoshop Vector image for our print facility... at least that's what they're telling us.

Nice to have

• The fingers slightly resemble people... if you look closely. Something that inspires people to look a little closer at the logo and think, are those people? Maybe me or a family member?

Should not have

• Not look creepy or scary. Not look childish. We would like an adult hand, not a kids hand.
