Logo Design Brief

Straight Up Southern is a southern lifestyle brand of t-shirts. The designs are unisex, which in general means slightly masculine. We focus on southern traditions and lifestyle, i.e. trucks, hunting dogs, cotton, hunting, fishing, shotguns, sweet tea, etc. I need a logo that fits this genre. Competitors are:
Southern Fried Cotton (Closest to the style we are launching.)
Southern Marsh
Southern Point
Little Brown Dog
Southern Strut
more if needed

The logo should be the text with a running dog (Labrador or Boykin Spaniel or Pointer) or a dog head (Labrador, Boykin Spaniel or pointer) Dog should be either a silhouette or minimal detail. I prefer professional calligraphy rather than stock fonts if possible.
