Logo Design Brief

We are a young startup from Austria with the name “saleRista”. We are planning to offer a platform for producers of self-made goods and resellers. Our target groups are designers, hobbyists, small manufacturers on the one side and shop owners, marketers, gallerists and similar on the other side.
Our goal is to make self-made goods available for end-consumer in small stores around the world. Our main focus is on unique, hand-made, hand-crafted, organic and sustainable products.
Our name is a combination of “sale” and the fashion-word “rista”. The “R” is capital as it is pronounced like just the letter “R”. Similar to “toysRus”.

We are now looking for a logo that is recognizable and highlights the “R” in special style or font. The other text of the logo does not need to be too fancy. The main color of the logo should be green [hex: 7CE300] and similar colors (see attachment. Not necessary to have exactly those colors, just a range). The design of the “R” (but not necessarily the rest of the text) should be transferable to other color schemes (red, blue, yellow, orange, purple, etc.) easily for later usage on the web site.
Once the provided logo is shortlisted, we would like to get a second versions of it. One with the normal “R” and a second one with “Я”.

Attachment 1: colors.png – example color range for the new logo. Feel free to combine additional colors based on your creative experience.
Attachment 2: salerista.jpg – first try of a logo. R in style of folded paper. Not professional enough. But could be still an option if improved.

• Edited 2015-12-23: the R should be in a style that is recognizeable and creates an association with saleRista even if it is printed alone.
• Edited 2015-12-26: the logo should look nice on white Background.

Nice to have

• An abstract symbol/logo additional to the text is not necessary. If you have something in mind that perfectly fits to the business topic feel free to add it.
