Logo Design Brief

the website is a Billiard cue Creator and i originally had a logo called that. Since with a USA company we are partnering it has been decided to called it cue creator. As many would know that can also be computer files so i have added other wording in the logo. Doesn't need to be exactly what i wrote but billiard cue creator still needs to be there as it translates in chinese to cue creator. Company will be based in Australia with the head office in hong kong and materials from Thailand and built in the USA. As its snooker and pool cues i don't want the standard type of logo's seen with two cues crossing each other it needs to be something unique. The company will be unique as normally snooker cues are hand made and we are doing that plus then finishing by CNC computer lathes and a newly designed joint for the cue and using the latest in designs for all aspects of billiards. The website will offer applications to visualize your cue being built with different choices of timbers as well as inlays or also inputting your own design so its fairly unique.
Apart from my logo the other logo next to mine will be McDermott cues which can be found at www.mcdermottcue.com which will be beside my logo. My logo will be cue creator and then will have a by McDermott Cues( logo)

Requirements

Must have

• cue creator as the main wording and then something showing Billiard cue creator and that its a designer website.
• Needs to have wording and a logo and the use of color to stand out and must be unique from whats around at present.
• - Also needs to work on a logo on a cue so needs to be simple overall.
• - Cue creator and image used would be used on the actual cue
• - on McDermott cues you will see they have their brand image logo and then a clover for the cue logo.
• - ADDITION/change PLEASE - Made in the USA as above in logo text
• - i would need to use the logo made (image and cue creator writing as cue logo)

Nice to have

• emphasis on design and i suppose it all comes from timber so a tree or somthing may also work well.

Should not have

• nudity or images that could be banned in china.
