Logo Design Brief

This company manufactures scissor gates. You can see the website at www.acfoldinggates.com to see the products they manufacture. The existing blue logo needs replaced and the owner wants to get away from the folding images in the current website logo and have a new logo created that looks more like their old logo (see attached photo), but freshened up with new font style, one color scheme, but somehow include the side bars, which are the vertical lines of different widths on each side of the A/C. The owner prefers the slash in the "A/C". So we need a fresh look, but styled in a way that looks something like the photo attached. There is no need to have the faint scissor gate background image that shows in the attached photo background, we'd prefer a white background to have a clean look in the website.
