Book Cover Design Brief

E-Book Cover design for a series about mermaids. Looking for a striking but simple design in the paranormal romance genre so would prefer bold colours, such as golds against black, or the motif of a tail with a crown possibly set against the backdrop of water



The series is about a mermaid choosing a husband from cultivated bloodline called 'The Marked Ones' by Samantha K.Munt and needs to say 'Book One of the fairy tail series'

Requirements

Nice to have

• A tail or crown motif in golds against black water is one suggestion-if both can be combined would be fabulous.
  
  Or the image of a striking mermaid with a periwinkle coloured tail, waist-length and abundant golden curls with green eyes.
  
  Another theme of the series is a tattoo that each 'Marked' bares which is described as an artfully drawn wavy line, with a dot in the centre above it-the line (like a swung dash/wave) represents the princesses ranking, the dot in the centre shows that she is the only child. Would love it if someone could incorporate that
