Logo Design Brief

A logo for a new wedding and portrait photography business. Initially the logo will be used on my website (under construction ), business cards and stationary. In future i hope to produce more marketing materials which will use this logo (for which i will no doubt need help designing!)

The company name is Anna Oakden Photography. I am Anna Oakden, I'm female and this is a total career change for me. Its something i am very passionate about and that i love doing. As website is not yet finished please see www.annaoakden.carbonmade.com for examples of my work.

The logo should incorporate my brand values of style, quality and taste.

Hi

I just want to clarify the situation with my website - my final website address will be www.annaoakdenphotography.com - don't bother looking at the moment as it is being built right now. The colour scheme from the chosen logo will be incorporated into its design.

The site i have provided www.annaokden.carbonmade.com is an online portfolio only. It will not be used in my business but has been provided to you so you are able to have a look at my images. This site will not be rebranded.

Keep them coming, and good luck!

Anna

Hello Everyone

There are some really lovely designs developing - so thank you! I will get back to all designers with feedback, so if i haven't already it is coming!

Just a couple of points that might be worth stressing:

I am looking for a feminine design. So perhaps less angular shapes and softer colours are best...well I'll leave the interpretation to you, but you get the idea. BUT even though i want something feminine i am not after something "girly" if that makes sense. I'm not really keen on the use of pink and definately no cute motifs ;)

Secondly there are a number of entries with script / italic style fonts. This is fine. However, if the script is part of a more complicated logo sometimes i think it begins to look messy. If the script is the main focus of the logo it seems to work better for me. Just to be clear i am not saying you must use scripts, but if you do then this is how i tend to prefer them.

Hope that makes sense - if you have any questions either before or after submitting a design then please just ask.

Good luck

Anna
