Logo Design Brief
Everything But the Kragle is a small business focused on Lego sales. We sell Lego by the part, not full sets. Our customers are typically Adult Fans of Lego who build their own custom creations, so our goal is to appeal to adults, not children. We are looking for a concept that meshes fun and inner child with an adult taste.
Our goal is to have 2 versions of the Logo, both working together. First, we would like a version of the logo that will look nice on a business card, 2x3.5 ratio. We also would like a banner style version, much longer than it is tall. We are flexible on that ratio, just make sure it would look good being a banner on the top of a web page.
We want to incorporate an illustration of the Kragle from the Lego movie in the logo. Examples attached. Feel free to be creative how it is illustrated. We do not want copyright problems, so please do not use the attached photos exactly. Illustrated concepts that make it clear what it is, without being exact, are desired.

Requirements
Must have
- An illustration of "The Kragle," see photos attached. It must also contain all the words, "Everything But the Kragle." Please put the word Kragle on the illustrated Kragle.
- Please also remember that our concept is Everything But the Kragle. We don't actually sell the Kragle. Therefore, the illustration of the Kragle should be an element of the logo, and not it's primary focus.
Nice to have
- Submissions we've received so far have made us realize that the illustration of the Kragle needs to be more than simply a 'clip art' rendering of the Kragle. It does not need to be a perfect representation of the Kragle, it just simply needs to be recognizable. This could be accomplished with realistic art or cartoony art. We'd love to see creativity with this illustration, but please keep the logo as a whole clean, without multiple extra design elements.
Should not have
- Should NOT use the photos attached exactly in the logo. Please illustrate this in some way.
