Logo Design Brief

We would like a logo for our new Painting and Waterproofing business, to use on business cards etc. We want the logo picture to show both sides of our business, with, for example, either a paint brush or roller as well as a drum/tin with "waterproofing" on it. Text to be stylish but easy to read. We would prefer not to have yellow/orange in the design as it will eventually go on yellow hi-vis shirts. So contrasting colours would be better.
