Logo Design Brief

We need a logo for The LACCD Presidents Academy, 1st of its kind in California! The collaboration between the Los Angeles Community College District (LACCD) (nation's largest) and UCLA's Educational Leadership Program (an education doctoral program) to design & execute it is also a 1st. The Academy is a prestigious year-long training program exclusive to senior community college leaders desiring to become a community college president. This program will get national attention. The partnering institutions are conservative and business-oriented in their online graphic images, both of which are blue based. Prestigious, transformative, and progressive are what we'd like the logo to communicate. It will be prominently featured on a leather portfolio image online as the opening page to the Academy application. More descriptive info in attached file.
