Logo Design Brief

I am a RN, Lactation Consultant and Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD) Therapist. I am starting a private practice to offer MLD to postpartum mothers as well as anyone else that might benefit from MLD. MLD can improve patient outcomes and thus I will target medical practices (plastic surgery offices, pain clinics, ob-gyn offices) to introduce MLD as a supportive complimentary therapy for their patients.

I have been experimenting with the Vistaprint's images (please see my website banner expecting-wellness.com). I would like to include a male image as well. I want to appeal to the general population, so the man need not be next to the mother baby, as this would depict a family image. The hands could encircle the images as with the draft logo I have thus far, or their could be a single hand and the image of the man / mother-baby on top. Or there could be two hands somehow cradling the people images. At one point, I had the mother-baby image on the top hand and it looked like a tattoo. It was very subtle - could do something similar and put the image of the man on top of the other hand.

I would like a clear, crisp image to use on my website, business cards, and flyers. Colors choices could compliment the current website theme, but I am open to changing themes and could choose a new theme based on what will compliment my new logo. I like colors that are dark /deep / royal - nothing neon. I like the combinations of dark purple and gray, grass green and dark teal blue, or perhaps working with different shades of a single color purple, green, or blue.

Nice to have

• I would like to see if someone could take the existing logo that I have on my website and make something very similar and include a male image in the upper space between the hands.

Should not have

• Although I do like some of the logo bids that look like a family, I would like to see options that have a male figure separate from the mother baby. Logo needs to demonstrate service for men, women, and mother/baby.
