Logo Design Brief

We are looking for a new logo for the Data Science Teaching Initiative, or short "Teaching Data Science":

The idea is that lecturers worldwide can share their teaching material on this web-page. Everybody can download pdfs, but only approved teachers can get access to the powerpoint slides. The whole thing is non-profit.

Requirements

Nice to have

• - The logo does not need to have any text.
• - It should fit nicely on our current web-page design: http://www.teachingdatascience.org/
• - Maybe something which includes a normal distribution or a statistical symbol (like sigma square), would be nice.

Should not have

• We do not want to have a generic symbol like a standard company. There should be a connection to data science (e.g., statistical symbol, distribution, etc) and/or teaching (e.g., presentation slides, etc).
