App Design Brief

UPDATED PROJECT and INCREASED TOTAL COST. Also added a new design guideline document (6DD - Concept - The Spectrum 170613.pdf).

We are a small start-up company based in Sydney, Australia. We have the ideas and coding skills to have built a revolutionary document management app that helps knowledge workers deal with information overload.

We are about to launch an alpha version of a document management app on the iPhone. We have created a series of screens but they lack the brilliance that only a talented graphic designer can deliver. So we would like to find a design partner who can make a contribution in two areas:

1. Make specific changes to our screens such as formatting images so they better blend into the background.
2. Examine our overall UX and either suggest changes or propose new design concepts.
3. Create a logo for this product.

We have completed a pretty comprehensive design brief that we attach to this project and also a set of our existing screen designs in a mix of Photoshop and Keynote formats that we can share with you.

Once we have launched are alpha product, we hope that the winner of this project (our future graphic design partner) will work with us on another project that aims to radically improve the UX of our app in time for a full version 1.0 launch later this year.

We'd like to lock-down the alpha UX in 5 to 10 days but if the ideas you have are exciting enough we can extend this time.
