Logo Design Brief

We need a highly professional logo for our optical mark recognition software. FormReturn is OMR software (Optical Mark Recognition software) for Windows, Mac OSX and Linux. It gives anyone the ability to design printable forms, distribute, capture and automatically grade/analyze handwritten multiple choice response information instantly. Currently, our OMR software logo uses the same font as our company logo and is not professional enough. We want it to be catching and the basis of a new look for the website and application. Existing project files are attached to this project (inkscape SVG format, www.inkscape.org).

University staff aged between 25 to 65. Market research staff aged between 20 and 55. Medical staff aged between 30 and 60. Teachers aged between 20 and 60. IT staff aged between 20 and 60.

Requirements

Must have

• - The wordmark is the main image used for promotion. It must be professional looking and possibly convey what the application is. You have free reign on the look and colours of this. You can use any font you like.
• - The icon must retain the basic silhouette of the form with the pencil, 3 triangles at the left of the icon and the swirl. You can modify the colours, make it look much better or simpler.
• - The artwork must be provided in vector format, preferably as both AI and SVG. Please open the existing files using inkscape, available from www.inkscape.org. Please include all font files too.

Nice to have

• Preferably make the icon something that looks good in both OSX and Windows.
