Coffee Talk provides an environment for women to engage in conversations that really matter, ask questions that challenge their thinking and walk away rejuvenated with insights and ideas for moving forward. It is designed for aspiring, emerging and seasoned women leaders who have a desire for self discovery and relationship building. The Coffee Talk experience is set in a café style, intimate settling, rather than a big boardroom.
JBM & Associates and an advisory board of distinguished women leaders worked for 18 months to create an experience that would make a difference in the lives of many women, and it did just that.
Coffee Talk launched its inaugural event in August 2012, in Greenville, SC to an overwhelming response. Many relationships were formed, including one participant who hired Coffee Talk’s keynote speaker to assist her in restructuring her troubled company. The result was an excellent long term benefit for both women. Because of stories like this and amazing positive feedback we received from participants, mentors and speakers, we realized that Coffee Talk fills a need within our community and encouraged us to “continue the conversation.”
The second annual Coffee Talk will takes place in October 2016, at a location to be determined. The program will consist of guest speakers, mentoring sessions, continental breakfast and coffee breaks.

- The beauty of this event is that it is not corporate and needs to have a brand that depicts fun, and all the words below. We create a coffee shop feel to make women feel comfortable.

- I was thinking about how to capture what Coffee Talk is all about through using words perhaps around a coffee cup, or in the cup? The words include:
- Unexpected
- Relaxed
- Creative
- Non-threatening
- Inclusive
Should not have
- no handshaking images- yuck. NOTHING too corporate. Our current logo is on the site. It isn't bad, but I don't love it. I want to LOVE it.
