Logo Design Brief

I am after a simple black and white logo, handwriting-type font, I like the idea of joint the words 'bamboo' and 'baby' with a simple love heart, but I would also like to incorporate a simple cartoon-like bamboo shoot into the logo. No shading, just bold black lines. I am appealing to new mothers, so going for light-hearted and warm feel, yet contemporary with a black and white theme. If you look at the logo of milkbarbreastpumps.com.au this is really exactly what I am going for, but would would love to incorporate the bamboo in there. I need the bamboo shoot to flow with the rest of the logo. I am open to other concepts incorporating bamboo in somehow, but would really like the heart joining in the middle of the 'bamboo' and 'baby'. See attached images which I paid I designer to do and I do not like the bamboo image used. I like the font and joining heart. The bamboo sketch does not flow, does not look like it belongs. I want a cartoon-like version, minimal simplistic, no shading, no or very little leaves at the top of the shoot.
