I seek a logo design for a new property company based near London in the UK. The company buys unloved houses and turns them into bright, gorgeous, inspiring homes. Spaces that uplift their owners. We also sometimes build lovely homes from scratch too. Every house or place has a story, that's the driving force behind the name Storybook. It also stands for imagination and lovely warm feeling you get when you're at home. In running a small test, the Storybook name was very well received but images brought out a lot of different opinions. As a result, the name and font should be the focus with the design element being subtle, more of a flourish. Font choice is important and should communicate simplicity, contemporary and creative flair. Importantly, the design should avoid being too sweet/"twee", too child-like, too old-fashioned. This is a business targeting professional adults in modern times. Would also prefer to avoid obvious pictures of books... since the brand is less about reading and more about imagination, creative flair and history of place.
