Hello,

Do you have a website?

Maybe you have something more unique of your enterprise.

Regards.

www.murphyeng.com

The parts we make are generally used in power plants with huge fans that blow air into and out of fossil fueled power plants. I do not own the rights for these parts though, I only produce them so I cant have any actual parts as part of my logo.

Good day!
you said that some designs use generic clipart, are you refering to the lathes or the character?

Best regards,
Ryan

1) I do  not really require a new professional website at this time. It will be nice to have, but I do not have photos of my shop that are good enough for the world to see.

2) More designs the better. A lot of people post multiple flavors of the same concept, or different concepts all together. Fine by me to see 100 drafts.

3) The clipart that I was referring to is used everywhere. Sometimes its nice, but if it comes across as generic it makes Murphy Eng look generic. I need this to set my company apart from the other guys. I need something to show that we are different from other companies. Most other shops that do what we do are clean and "21 st century". We make a lot of money by being lean. We are able to machine parts quickly on a large scale on large equipment and keep the price down because we have cheaper equipment.

Designs that do not have the company name and clipart of gears or just a generic lathe will not win.

If you find clipart for a lathe it will probably be for a hoppy lathe. Something that some would buy for their garage to make wooden baseball bats.

I know you guys dont know the difference between all the different machines out there. I just want people to come up with something creative. If you get close I will tell you how to fix it to get closer.

Just as I cant draw to save my life, I don''t expect you to know my world overnight.

Hi Mike, this all sounds great.
I am working on a couple of concepts for you and will have them by next week Tuesday, Monday is a holiday here is South Africa. I like you idea of keeping it simple with a hint of creative flare but modern and iconic at the same time.

Cheers

Dear Sir

I would like to work on your project. Just want to cross check that your logo text is:

"Machine Shop looks for someone creative"

and

you also want to incorporate tagline with it?

Regards
Shikha
