Logo Design Brief

We need a logo and business card design for an new company based in Texas called "Final Approach Software". We provide IT consulting and custom software development services our clients, as well as develop our own software products. One of our founders is big into airplanes, particularly US War planes, so the company name draws on that, but also is meant to communicate that we are the "final approach" to our clients IT related needs. We would like for the logo have an airplane type theme. One thought was like a runway with some approach lights, or a plane on approach, or whatever else makes sense to the designer.
