Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for a new real estate team called the "Danny/Hoover Team." We are a real estate broker team working at Roots Real Estate Brokerage whose logo is a house with a tree outline on top...representing down to earth, trustworthy, etc. Roots is a smaller, more boutique but down to earth brokerage. We help clients buy and sell homes in the Northern Colorado region. We want the design to be simple with m/b some edginess or trendiness while still communicating someone fun but knowledgable to work with. We like to think we're really fun for people to work with in their real estate journey. Root's logo is a dark brown and medium blue but this doesn't necessarily need to match that? We'd like it to be fairly simple.
