Logo Design Brief
Our band, kingtides, is in need of a logo design to be used for merchandise (T-shirts, stickers, posters, etc.) and promotion of songs via youtube, facebook, soundcloud, iTunes, Spotify and other social media/music formats.
Our ultimate goal is to have a simple, concise, immediately-recognizable FONT that is along the lines of the images and other band logos we have provided.
In addition, we've attached our new single titled, "Drive Through the Night" (1st file) that we will be releasing in a few weeks. This may help in giving you an idea of our style/sound and what we might be looking for in a logo. It's modern, but has influences from other decades. The single was produced by Carmen Rizzo (Coldplay, Goo Goo Dolls, Alanis Morisette) and is soon to be mastered by Joe Laporta (Foo Fighters, The Killers, Imagine Dragons). We would like a professional logo that fits the quality and style of the music we are working hard to release. Best of luck and we're excited to see what you come up with!!

Nice to have
- It would be awesome to have a font that looks sleek when putting it up against a photograph or faded vintage-style picture (ideas could include waves, the ocean, coastline/shoreline, lunar eclipse, setting sun, etc. -- check out some of the examples we posted...) Black/White/Grey logo against sepiatone? Something with a golden sunset hue?
- Since we are releasing our single soon, it would be nice to have the logo with "Drive Through the Night" underneath it. This is what we would use for Facebook, YouTube, iTunes, BandCamp, Spotify and other music streaming sites.
Should not have
- Lots of Color in the font. (After a day and a half of submissions, we seem to gravitate towards the fonts being GRAYSCALE)
- Any graphics incorporated into the font design (i.e. WAVES, a CROWN, wavy lines, water). (We have had some extremely creative ideas filter through, but we've decided this is not we are looking for. Nothing playful. Bold, Professional and Concise).
