Logo Design Brief
I am a setting up a business called BrandOrder that helps organize a company around their brand, from culture, innovation to plans for marketing communications. This can be described as inside-out brand building (vs. 'outside-in' that relies on an expensive TV ad to bring a company together.)
It is a cross between a management consultancy (I.e. Deloittes, Bain) & a brand/creative agency. But my focus is on defining a brand promise (I.e. Coca Cola & Happiness) that can organize a company in terms of culture, positioning of its products & services and its marketing. This is not a design company.
My clients will be large listed businesses that have trouble being customer-centric, because they have lost sight of customer needs at the expense of generating money. I want to make customer-centricity part of a company's DNA, not a strategy.
My business attributes will be straightforward, making the complex simple to inspire innovative cultures and high performing cultures.
I want a logo/corporate identity that is serious, not fun. I am offering a premium service that will compete with management consultancies (Deloitte, Bain etc.) or brand consultancies (Futurebrand, Interbrand or Prophet). The logo needs to inspire confidence. The logo I most like is from the management consultancy, Bain. It's a compass logo that signifies direction. I want to convey in my identity any one of the 3 attributes:
- creating order
- providing brand direction or
- 'inside-out' methodology.
I don't mind if my logo is predominantly letter based. I would like to see designs predominantly in dark blue or black, but am open to your recommendations that best answer the brief.
Thank you for your efforts in answering my brief
