Packaging Design Brief

I am developing a premium candy in the form of a cube shape. My dream is to have a packgaing made out of disposable rubber or plastic that is approximately the size of a conventional chewing gum package. As users should have this on them it should be lean and look "cool". As the cubes are geometrically lean, the package should be lean too, I'm thinking Apple Designish. Simple. As the candies will have 5 colours (red, organge, yellow, green and blue) there might be a creative way of putting some colour around the individual package that contains the colour.

I would ideally want to have 2 rows of 5-6 cubes per row. The trick will be "how do I get the cubes out" : do I open a chamber, press a button or do something else? If you can grafically think about how that would look like thats fine. No sophisticated engineering obviously required. Maybe you have a creative idea.

The measures I put on the picutre are random. The shape can be different that is just what i have in my head. Also assume that the size of the candy can be changed but should be around 7mm.

That is my initial idea of how to packet. If you have a better and more efficient way to packet those cubes and get them out of a package that is great!

Requirements

Must have

• A rough solution on how to get the cubes out of the package. Either its a package similar to checking gum as I indent but there might be a more createive way. Maybe its a cube althogether, a longer row etc. I like the flat chewing gum like pack with aprox. 10 units but I'm free if anything else comes to mind
• Different options on the look and colouring of the package. Base colour should be white but I imagine some "splashes" of colour across the packages for each of the 5 flavours. It would be great to have picture of one of the cubes. In a best case the cube has rounded corners
• It would be amazing just to have a short picture of one of the cubes with round corners as somewhat illustrated in the pic I added.

Nice to have

• I like the idea of the chewing gum packet I described and added a short sketch therof
• I added one inspirational adesign as I liked the colours and the playfullness of this. Just as a direction no must have.
