Logo Design Brief

I am starting a new consulting business to aid investors (typically from US, Canada, Europe, China) in developing real estate in the Caribbean. These clients are very high net worth individuals who are located very far away from the Caribbean. Development in the Caribbean is perceived as being very risky. I need to convey confidence that I will successfully manage their developments through planning, design, and ultimately through construction. These projects will be very high-end custom homes (>$6 million) and small luxury resorts.

The look should be professional, a little serious, and conservative. Graphics may include the traditional tropical items - palm trees, seashells, sunset - but must be professional adaptations of these images. Abstract graphics are also OK.

Colors usually associated with the tropics - blues and greens - are acceptable as long as the whole logo conveys professionalism to the client.
