Web Design Brief

We need a fresh rebrush of www.lesvilles.com, a portal for french regions, departements and cities. It shall look modern as the current design is over 10 years old.

We like the blueish colors and the french touch (blue, white, red).

There are 3 page types that we currently need:
- Homepage (http://www.lesvilles.com/)
- Region overview (e.g. http://www.lesvilles.com/provence-alpes-cote-d-azur)
- City overview (e.g. http://www.lesvilles.com/provence-alpes-cote-d-azur/bouches-du-rhone/marseille)

  - Nice looking map with visible region borders to create a mouseover effect (as seen on current version). Meaning we need the plain map and a version with each region highlighted

  - Content boxes (like the current gray ones)

  - Info box (Informations)
  - Mini map
  - Crest / emblem
  - Text area with headline for a long descriptive text with a "read more" / "show less" button/link to pop out the whole text via javascript
  - List of the 24 biggest cities in the region

  - Info box (Informations, same look as for regions)
