Logo Design Brief

The 'Research Data Vault' is an online system for storing and archiving large amounts of data that is generated by researchers at universities. The system needs a logo - something that be large enough to feature boldly in presentations, but can also be small and neat for for a website, perhaps even a favicon.ico. It would be good if the logo can be multicolour (using plain colours such as blue, red, etc), but also look good monochrome. The logo will mostly be used on a white background.

• It would be good if the word 'Research' could be substituted or removed, for example a variant product might be a 'somethingelse Data Vault'. Therefore perhaps best not to use the initials RDV - better to use the words.
