Logo Design Brief

This is for a wedding boutique in Sarawak, Malaysia. We will rent and sell wedding dresses and tuxedos, apply bridal make up, and take prenuptial bride and groom photographs for display in wedding albums. As an old commonwealth country, we would like a logo that shows elegance and prestige in an old English pattern, similar to the way wallpaper once looked. However, we do NOT want the logo text to be in old English font. I could be flowers, but we're open to creative ideas on old English designs. However, we want our design to be in black and white. Please don't send colored designs outside of black/white or we will reject them. We want the logo to portray a sense of high quality and elegance in our product offerings. We took an example of a pattern we like from another website, just to give a general idea, but we are open to creative innovations on this. Obviously it must be different because the example is copyrighted.

Requirements

Must have

• Old English pattern picture, black and white.

Nice to have

• Old English patterns both above and below the logo text seem appealing to us, with the logo text in the middle, similar to an emblem. But we are open on other ideas for this, especially pictorial/combination logos.
• For the logo text, we want a font that portrays elegance, something similar to cursive handwriting but we're open on this. However, please make the font easily readable, as cursive can be confusing to the eye.

Should not have

• No color images.
• Text should not be in old English font. (Only the picture should be an Old English Pattern)
