Logo Design Brief

We need great logo for new company. Below are details about color, name inspiration, background--to provide sense of company and details we're looking for. If this brief is not clear for design direction, please message me and I can clarify.

Basic Ideas:
We want a modern, fresh, upscale image that complements our name "Gateway." We welcome designer's interpretation of "Gateway." You can also consider playing with company initials GJS. We're open to Abstract, Symbolic, and Wordmark logos.

Logo Must-Haves:
Logo should be unique, bold, modern, upscale. Feel fresh and inspiring. We want abstract or symbolic creativity to complement company name, "GATEWAY."

Do Not Want:
No use of water bubbles, cleaning equipment/products, no office buildings, no clipart of gates, no pink, etc.

Logo Use:
Logo should EMBROIDER well on medium to dark uniforms, PRINT well on business cards/letterhead and work for WEB presence.

Colors:
Dark Purple should be primary color

About Company:
Gateway Janitorial Services, LLC is 100% women owned. The company provides professional janitorial services to commercial customers.

Name Inspiration:
“GATEWAY” represents Jesus Christ as the way to God; the way to spiritual salvation.

Target Market(s)

Commercial market--customers are professional managers/executives of medium-to-large sized companies that need daily quality cleaning of their corporate buildings.

• Emphasis on "Gateway" (for example "gateway" in all caps)
• Dark Purple with complementary business colors (no pink)
• Be unique, modern, bold

Nice to have

• Abstract symbol that captures something in the name inspiration (see brief)
• A 2nd option creatively using initials "GJS"

Should not have

• do not want predictable, dated design (e.g. clip art of gates)
• do not want mops, brooms, cleaning equipment or products, etc
• do not want use of office buildings
• do not want use of bubbles "washing"
• do not want bubble letters
