Web Design Brief

Need a very simple blog template (see attachment, Frontpage) that includes entries and ability to upload photos/video. Tabs are not needed (See Jesse Cafe Americain blog for sort of what I am going for but a lot less cluttered). A section that can access old entries is needed as well as a "contact me" tab. The format should be very simple. An entry and section for comments, new entry, section for comments etc. comments sections should be able to be monitored by me. With the ability for readers to contribute via paypal. The look and feel should be sophisticated and should target an educated global audience. The blog is all about commenting on global news around the world. For example, a news article could be photographed and then commented on. Type face should be simple, clean and 1930's style. See New Yorker magazine for looks and feel. If viewers wish to contribute they can make donations via paypal on the site. Once the template is competed it should be very easy for me to update and work with and handed over to a web hosting service. I own the domain name which I want to use. It would be best to use an existing template eg wordpress. So in simple terms need a wordpress template adapted for this blog idea. Not sure what coded vs. uncoded means. But the overall objective is very simple. Template should be clean, no design elements other than the name of the blog.

Must have

• This is a blog so it should have all the standard features including daily updates, photo/video upload, comments that can be monitored by me, paypal donation link. It should be easy for me to use and handle once completed and delivered to web host. It must have a simple, elegant look and feel. I have chose Serif font style but recommend a 1930's Art Deco - clean, unfussy type face. Type face Upper East Side is what I am looking for

Nice to have

• The look must be simple and no pictures, design elements or logos. Clean and crisp

Should not have

• Any pictures for illustrations as part of the overall design
