Logo Design Brief

Public Library on Wheels (PLOW) is a literacy initiative of the Stratford Public Library that addresses the low literacy level in children throughout Stratford and area. Specifically, it delivers preschool & toddler reading programs, age appropriate lending collections, and knowledgeable support staff to local communities currently underserviced by traditional library facilities. PLOW programs are fun, interactive storytimes with puppets, felt boards, games, songs and crafts - and of course - stories!
The logo we need will be fun, youthful, colourful – and ideally include the umbrella from the Stratford Public Library's logo (attached). Colours to use should be coordinating with the blues and greens from the SPL website found at http://www.stratford.library.on.ca. Fonts should coordinate with the SPL logo but can be different. Font should be a freely available font.
The logo will be used in brochures, on the web, as well put on the side of a white van so he logo will need to be appropriate for all situations.
