Logo Design Brief

I need a logo design for a single lawyer law firm that is based in Bradenton, FL. The name of my company is the typical law firm name of Joy Leggett-Murphy,P.A. At the age of 45, I am a woman lawyer who is striking out on her own to practice law on her own terms. My practice areas are: mediation, real estate, business transaction and litigation. I enjoy problem solving for my clients as an attorney and love to be engaged as a mediator to assist in resolutions of conflict. I am thinking of this opportunity as a new beginning. A time to be open to opportunities and to redefine how I practice law. I am not interested in seeing a logo with the stereotypical "lawyer like" symbols unless they are revamped into something that can encompass the ideas of new beginnings, going against the norm and challenging the "old boys" way of doing things. I have attached a file that I designed on Vistaprint that moved me. However, I want to have something unique to me. Although I love the zen like quality of this design, I have a hesitation that this design may be a little bit too "yoga like" and may confuse the potential clients as to what I actually do.
