Logo Design Brief

We are creating software that allows people (adults and kids) to control math equations with their body movement; almost like XBox's "Dance Central" for solving equations (Picture urban kids that had "telekinetic" powers to manipulate variables in math equations. Our mission is to awaken the inner math genius in people).

The name of the product is Human Storm. The technology will be a cool, and deep, online educational software game.

Logo type: Symbolic/Iconic.

Here's the idea that I want the logo to capture. Math is the superpower for a secret society of child superheroes. At a deeper level, Math is a magical communication technology that humans use to understand, and control, nature. We control this technology with body movement and music. Dance (or body movement to music) is the "Call" and the solving of the solution to the equation is the "Response." Rhythmic body movement now represents doing mathematics. Solving equations is now a performance.

Words to describe logo: clear, serious, deep, thought-provoking, a badge or symbol, smooth, davinci code, matrix, controlling nature, movement, math.

Logo style: This should be something cool enough to be worn as a patch on clothes, symmetrical. No angry birds cartoonish icon... I'm thinking more serious like Star Trek or icons/logos from Marvel Comics characters.

If an alien civilization came to Earth in a distant future, after all humans have perished, and they saw this logo on a cave painting, they would have no doubt that this was an intelligent species.

With the above song, I imagine a kid with a jacket with the logo patched on the jacket like a badge or uniform walking to the middle of a classroom, standing about 10 feet away to huge flat panel monitor that is displaying MIYAGI.

My vision of Math...

Math is used by humans to talk to nature, predict her, and control her. This is powerful yet many do not see math that way. This symbol, combined with the technology, MIYAGI, should inspire a reinterpretation of mathematics. Think of this as a symbol for the

Requirements

Must have

• - The image should be larger and dominant over the text and the image should be able to stand alone without logo text
• - The logo should be vector based (for scaling).
• - Must be stylish enough to be worn on clothes as like the logos of a superhero worn on their uniforms
• - Must translate easily to international markets such as Africa, US, Europe
• - Logo design must come in all file formats required for online and print purposes

• 06:02:09" shows a logo on the patch of the uniform, which was uploaded to give you an idea of the seriousness of the tone of the logo. The logo should be as serious enough to look appropriate as an emblem/patch on such a uniform.

Should not have

• - Nothing too cartoonish. For example, no "Dora the Explorer" or "Nickelonian" but more like the tone of X-men or Ender's game logo patch that the kids wore on their uniforms in the movie, "Ender's game."
