Web Design Brief
I need a new, refreshed website that more closely matches the high-caliber, custom homes we built. I'm located in Bend, Oregon, and build high-end, custom residential homes. I'm looking for a website that is image/photo-heavy, uses a parallax layout, and is a 'single page'. My primary colors are charcoal, red, and white, and I'd prefer a predominately dark charcoal website, to provide a sharp background for the photos. I'd like the site to be elegant and sophisticated.
My current website (www.stillwaterconstructionbend.com) is hosted on GoDaddy.com, and needs to stay live until this website is launched. I'd like your help in doing the work with GoDaddy to transfer the new website live once complete.
I've purchased the 907 Theme on ThemeForest, and would like to use that. However, I'm open to other options. Within that theme, I like the full page parallax layout: http://themes.webcreations907.com/ninezeroseven/index.html
Specifically I like...
-The "Take a look at Recent Works" Section... showing my home portfolio.
-The "Services" section, with the 6 bulletpoint icons & short descriptions. Although I'd like custom, simple icons that match my bulletpoints.
-The Gallery section... showing random photos from all my homes.
-No blog section
-the different sections separated by a large widescreen parallax photo
I'd like to bring in a few 'features' from the "Corporate Crisp Example" (http://themes.webcreations907.com/ninezeroseven/diff-one/)...
-the slider animations on the top parallax image (1-2 of my best home images, and 1 image of my budget worksheet & schedule worksheet that highlights the "Over/Under" & "Forecasted Amount" line items at the bottom of the page. I'd like to combine/overlay the budget vs actual & schedule images creatively into one image for this section.
-"The Team" section: for mine I'd like to call it "Owner"
-The "Contact Us" section
As for images...
My favorite images are shown in the home page slider of my current website. They are presented somewhat in order of priority.
*I've included a lot of images.. definitely not all of them need to go in, only the 'best' ones. I wanted to have a lot for you to choose from.
*I would like the final web design to be somewhat user-friendly so that I can swap out the big widescreen parallax images from time to time to keep the site fresh and new.
Storyboard: I created a storyboard (file #39) that shows the general layout I'd like, as well as TEXT for the page.
Please let me know if you need anything else from me, have any questions, etc.
I'm VERY open to suggestions on anything I've missed, or could do differently/better.
Thanks!
Bart
