Logo Design Brief

Very successful and busy family hair salon in Asheville, NC is changing it's name to Hair Designers Inc. We need a clean, modern logo design (no old bitties come here) that would attract professional, multi-generational clients( families become clients and tend to stay clients, as children bring their children). One key element will be a pair of silver shears as they are an integral recognized icon in the current logo. The interior of the salon was recently remodeled with a somewhat industrial feel using metal and granite and painted in light blues and grays. The logo should be great for outdoor signs that allow great visibility and is easy to read ,as well as use for stationary, promotional material and business/appointment cards.
