Would that be the left side of the image, or left side of the person wearing it?

Hi, the Sun would be on the left as I do the design, or the left of the girl wearing it? Also, what will be the color of the shirt? Do I leave the background transparent? Thanks.

It'll be on the left side when the girl is wearing the shirt, and yes if you could leave it transparent that would be great. The colors are red, navy, and yellow

Have you (or the coach) checked with Tee-shirt printing companies to make sure that they will print a logo running vertically down a shirt? Every company that I've ever worked with limits artwork to an approximately 10" x 10" square on the chest and/or on the back of the shirt. The 12"x12" size is for an adult's large size shirt. Children's sizes have a smaller printable area. Alternatively, one can get smaller logos printed on the "pocket" area of a shirt.

I'm not sure but I think these limitations are due to the nature of the printing equipment that the tee-shirt manufacturers use to print the shirts. So I suspect that finding a company that will print a vertical logo along one side of the shirt may be difficult.

I would be happy to design a vertical logo (i.e., something perhaps 15" tall by 3" wide). However I would hate for you to purchase such a logo from me or from anyone else only to find out that you can't get it printed.

Please check and then advise us if the project needs to be revised. Some tee-shirt printing companies that you might look into are cafepress.com, vistaprint.com and customink.com.

Can you try to give me a design for both ways? The vertical and horizontal way?

Thanks!

Was out of town for the weekend so just saw your response last night re my previous question about horizontal versus vertical designs on tee shirts. I just submitted a horizontal design and would love feedback on the font and "brutal sun" logo. I've also been trying to work up something vertical but don't have anything yet that I like well enough to submit. Putting a sun logo down near the word "sun" on a vertical design just feels WRONG to me. The sun needs to be high in the sky!

If you like the brutal logo, I'll try keep it in whatever vertical design I submit. The font will probably have to be changed but I might be able to work up something similar IF you like the font submitted. Will await feedback before spending any more time.
