Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for a film production company in Omaha, Nebraska called filmWEST. We make short films(movies) and feature length films for public entertainment. The design should be simple with a unique emblem that defines our company as film makers. The logo should be modern and have a strong feel and give a presence. The logo should have the words "film" all in lower case and immediately next to it "WEST" in all capitals. (filmWEST). dark red or burnt orange and black are the primary colors. It should be presentable in the beginning credits of any major motion picture. It should be able to later be incorporated into an animation style fanfare in the opening credits of any major motion picture. It should have a feeling of film making, moving forward and a strong appearance that can be used in digital format and print format. Please use bold colors and not pastels.
