Logo Design Brief
I would like a logo with the Initials RA or R. Or A very simple ROCK AUTO KC. This is a used car lot that sells a large number of cars. We need a logo that is simple and easily recognizable whether it has our name on it or not. I would like to see something interesting maybe a design that has letters intertwined to make an icon or mirrored R's. I doodled a lot of ideas but I am NO artist. The ones I would like to see something resemble or as a starting point, I've circled. I will eliminate anything that is too literal, I do NOT want to see a car, wheel, speedometer, or a rock or music. I would love to see it in the metallic 3D or reflective silver or gold. It needs to be able to translate in to all white and all black for the decals that we put on the back of cars. We need something sleek enough for the Lexus, Mercedes, and BMW's that will look just as good on the VW's, Toyota's and Chevys. This will go on our website, our decals, our sign outside, letterhead, business cards, license plate surrounds, etc.
Updates
I have updated the brief, my husband and owner of the car store would like to see more WITH OUT the double R's. It sounds like he's not a huge fan of the double R and the backwards or upside down letters. He likes interesting but not too busy. He really likes the reflective, liquid, chrome, metal look (I don't know what it's called). He would like more of that in the silver and gold. I've been very happy with the submissions so far. I just realized that 3 of the pictures I posted could be a bit confusing. I was actually trying to show the "SEWELL" logo not the Lexus. I sent the license plate, the decal and the plate frame. My husband likes the basic and simple but upscale feel of it. Something like that OR a symbol is great. Feel free to throw in your own ideas but try to remember sleek, upscale, simple, recognizable.
