Graphic Design Brief

Project Pilots Ltdis a small business which provides specialist project planning advice. The "pilot" element of the name is not related to flying but is intended to suggest piloting in the assisted navigation sense, like the pilot that will take a large shop safely into harbour. Our website is at www.projectpilots.net (not to be confused with our friends at www.projectpilots.com).

We'd like a logo that is snappy, appropriate and reassuring. We are not fixed on any particular colour or theme, but would like it to be recognisable and memorable. There are are maritime flags which signify "pilot wanted" and "pilot aboard" which have been used by Projectpilots.com and there may be something you can do with them, but as our friends/rivals are already using such a logo ours would need to be very different. Anyway that would be rather cryptic, so no more than a vague idea.

Otherwise the brief is wide open so do something original and surprise us.
