Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for our jewellery store called "Ritchies Jewellers". We are retailers and we manufacture as well. We have both a jeweller and watchmaker on the premises. We have been operating in the local area since 1889 so the logo needs to portray class and sophistication, perhaps even with a slight vintage vibe. We would like to use burgundy and grey as the colours and the design would need to have a diamond incorporated in it somewhere - not a picture of a real diamond, but a graphical representation of a diamond would be great. Our company slogan is to be included in the logo also (Service and Quality since 1889)
