Hello,

I have been a graphic designer and fine artist. I read your info. I notice that you are wanting leaves, but I don't see anything stating including any grapes. I just want to confirm with you that you don't want any grapes included in the art.

I will probably email this to you sometime Monday. I am surprised that there have not been any submissions so far. I am really excited about it. I have looked at this site before, but never submitted.

Thank You,
Lisa Bates

Hi Lisa,

I am glad you are excited about the project! I posted it earlier today, so I am not surprised there are no submissions yet. Hopefully in the next day or so.

It is fine to include grapes in the design. But as with the leaves, they should be wine grapes, red, not white, and not table grapesr. Red wine grapes ripen to a dark purple color and Pinot Noir means "black nut." It is a reference to the dark color of the grapes.

I hope that helps! I look forward to seeing your design.

Hi There I would like to know if you have a pic maybe an aerial shot of your vineyard so we could get an averall feel for the label and maybe incorporate it somehow.

Thanks a mil

I don''t have an aerial shot but I have some wide shots.   I have to figure out how to upload an additional photo.  I will work on it today. The vineyard is 13 acres. It is young, meaning the vines are just 1-2 years old, and so the vineyard doesn''t "look" as it will in the future when the vines mature.

I uploaded a vineyard photo this morning, I hope it helps.   I am pretty open at this point as to what the label should look like.  If you would like a specific kind of photo to work with let me know and I will see if I have it.  The vines are dormant now (no leaves) but I took a lot of pictures last season.

can the machine be made to wrap a label around more width of the bottle? like a complete circle?

or two labels right? like front and back? don't have to be exactly opposite each other?
