Logo Design Brief

I need a logo I can use on letter head, web site, clothing and so on. I have attached what I came up with as a very simple design. I like using the PES initials with the name somewhere in there as well. I would like to get one with PES alone and one described as above. I have also attached a line card that has the LOGO I have been using. I don't mind it but I think I could get something a little better. I probably would like to use a LOGO with PES only and one with the name attached also. I am picturing a LOGO that can be separated from the LOGO name combination. I am not a designer. So I am just looking for Ideas. Thanks for your help.
