I'm looking for a logo design for a new online car review website. The site will have the url www.carnut.kiwi so a subtle reference to New Zealand may work buy is not a must have.
I feel the successful logo will be modern and energetic and reflect the large amount of money people spend on their cars, so it should look appropriate for large car brands to associate with on-site.
The site will mainly house video reviews and video news items about cars and motoring strories. The logo will need to be a strong visual identifier of the Car Nut brand (also referencing the .kiwi domain address) and will also eventually feature on t-shirts.
Target Market(s)
Predominantly (but not exclusively) male with good disposable income. Target age bracket probably 30 to 65 years old.

Requirements
Must have
- 1/ An automotive 'feel' and look appropriate alongside car company brands.
- 2/ An international feel.
Nice to have
- 1/ It could be good to render the logo as if it too was a brand badge on a car...
- 2/ As the url ends with .kiwi it might be cool to have a subtle reference to New Zealand (but this should not make the logo look to casual and local).
- The attached Goodwill logo has the sort of simplicity of style that I like.
- The newly attached M logo shows the type of look I favour. Something that looks like it could be made in chrome and in 3D as if it were a real badge on a real car.
Should not have
- Overly complex
