Logo Design Brief

Our software helps create an environment where people can surf the web without having to worry about all the dangers that exist on the web like viruses, spyware, and malware. Using our simple interface, parents can set controls on which websites their children are allowed to visit and even how much web browsing they are allowed to do.

The main thing we are trying to convey security and safety on the web.

We would like the design to be modern, fresh, a little playful but also professional at the same time

Target Market(s)

We would love for everyone who owns a computer to become a customer but we feel initially this will more likely resonate with parents who want to control what their children can access and also the 30 and up crowd, those less familiar with technology who want the comfort of not having to worry every time they go to access their bank or favorite websites. A smaller target group would be those who just want to remain anonymous on the internet as our service would also provide this.

• Our original idea was a globe with a lock of some sort or something that has to do with a net protecting the web since the name is NetProtect but we are completely open to new thoughts on how to convey the name that aren't so literal.

Should not have

• While we don't mind a little bold in the styling of the logo, we don't want really bold colors like red.
