Thank you for the invite. What will the size of brochure be?
Will it be a three panels double sided? The images that you
supplied I know are just samples, What type of images are
required? Should design have same feel as your website?

Thanks Pat

Hi Designers,

This is a response to questions posted earlier to assist you in your project.

Q.What will the size of brochure be?
A. A4 size with folder flap for the back cover

Q.Will it be a three panels double sided?
A. Depends on your creative concept. But if you make a 3 panel dbl side then layout two version for print (double sided 3 panel) and digital pdf (single pdf pages in sequence).

Q.The images that you supplied I know are just samples, What type of images are
required?
A. Depends on your creative concept. Let the style of the logo inspire you. What I liked in the examples is the classic, premium, quality feel. So no business stock imagery. I''m also a creative agency so that message needs to come through. Illustrated styles are welcome.

Q.Should design have same feel as your website?
A. No. Our website is pending the outcome of the brochure. The brochure will be our creative direction for our new website. So creative an inspiring and clean brochure.

Please feel free to post additional questions. Good Luck and thank you for your participation.

When you say business stock imagery, do you mean an image bank like
shutterstock? When you say illustrated, do you mean like vector graphics?
Last question, do you require all info from pdf file or just choose what I
feel is appropriate for brochure?

Thanks Pat

Thank you for the project invite. Couple of items, can you upload a high-res image of your logo, and for the size: I am a little confused on what you mean by : Folder Fold for the Back cover?  That is an expression not used in design for printing here in the U.S.

Are you going to put this in a regular letter type mailing envelope or a large flat manilla type envelop?
Thank you, I will do my best to capture your description on the project.

Q. When you say business stock imagery, do you mean an image bank like
shutterstock?
A. Yes. But there are good photography which could be used from stock banks like shutterstock. I just mean that I don't want to see those figurines on isolated on white backgrounds used on many cheap websites or boring corporate websites. And I don't want to see business people shaking hands or anything like that. It is cheesy, over done and not creative.

Q. When you say illustrated, do you mean like vector graphics?
A. visit this site for illustration idea of brochure or website design. Yes vector is correct. (NB. I am not pushing you to this direction. I am open to whatever ideas feel right for the logo)

Q. Last question, do you require all info from pdf file or just choose what I
feel is appropriate for brochure?
A. Yes. If you have editing skills you may show them off, but the message must not be lost.

By folder I mean a 2 panel cover "book" staple bound with possibly a 3rd panel with a pocket to slide in papers, business cards etc.

See this link for folder example and inspiration to a functional brochure with folder flap.

Thank you for the info: another question.. Is this a 2-product project, 1-a folder and 2 the brochure to go into the folder?

I have some ideas and before I start want to know which direction to head first.

Thanks..
