Logo Design Brief

LINQPad - www.linqpad.net - needs a new logo that also works well as an application icon. The current logo looks OK in the large, but doesn't scale down to .ico size so well. A more modern, simpler, flat look would work better. Would like to keep a lambda character as the main theme. Perhaps just a lambda symbol without a notepad. Some influence from the new VS2015 logo https://www.dropbox.com/s/erig1smkudylkmr/vs2015.png?dl=0 might work well.

Requirements

Must have

• Lambda symbol has to be the main theme. I need just a logo, no 'LINQPad' text is required. The main target for the logo is the taskbar in Windows. It has to look good in the Windows taskbar.

Nice to have

• Would like to stick with current magenta/cyan colors (one or other or both).

Should not have

• Cannot be too complex. Must scale down well to small bitmaps.
