Logo Design Brief

We need a logo for our new business venture: Santa Cruz Family Doula Collective. We support women and their families during pregnancy, labor/birth and postpartum.

This industry is known for being super granola, but we want to move away from that a bit. We like clean, simple design that plays with the curves of a pregnant woman's body and invokes a feeling of support, since that is our main role. We live in beachy Santa Cruz, Ca and we want our esthetic to be pleasing to all types of mamas, not just the crunchy ones.

We're looking for a logo to sit next to the words "Santa Cruz Family Doula Collective"— feel free to incorporate the name or not. Ideally, it will look nice on its own or next to our name.

We've been mostly playing with black/white/grey logos, but we're not opposed to color as long as it's got a simplicity to it. I've attached a couple screen shots of our website-in-progress to give you a sense.
