We are bladesmiths and have started a new business. Bladesmithing is the art of making knives, swords, daggers and other blades using a forge, hammer, anvil, and other smithing tools. Our names are David Killingsworth and Tommy Killingsworth. We are custom knife makers.and our company name is Hammer Marked Knives. A logo or makers mark will identify our knives for many years to come. We need a logo that can be used mainly as our makers mark, but also on our business cards, stationery, invoices, packaging & shipping materials, and on occasion on a banner hanging on the front of our display table, behind us on the wall, or on the outside wall of our shop. As a makers mark the design needs to be small [no larger than 1/2 inch], with crisp lines, and easy to read. We will be placing it on the blade close to where the handle meets the blade. It also needs to enlarge well for the other uses described above. Many of our customers will be repeat customers and we want our logo to be well designed and easy to spot.
